FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 30, 2011 (Wichita, KS) — SONIC®, America’s Drive-In® has teamed up with DonorsChoose.org for the third year to provide funds to public school teachers and classrooms through the Limeades for Learning initiative. The program recognizes that as funding is cut from schools, teachers spend money out of their own pockets for learning materials to use in their classrooms. In the past two years, SONIC and its franchisees have donated more than $1.3 million to help teachers inspire creativity among their students.

Wichita-based JustinMcClure.tv, an animation and motion graphics studio, understands the importance of creativity in the classroom.

“It’s unfortunate that many public schools are lacking the resources to help children express their creativity,” said Justin McClure, owner of JustinMcClure.tv. “My job is centered on being creative and imagining the impossible. I am grateful to have had teachers who inspired me to be artistic; which is a vital part of who I am today.”

JustinMcClure.tv animated the 45-second intro video for LimeadesforLearning.com. Contracted by Barkley, SONIC’s public relations and cause branding agency, JustinMcClure.tv brought Aaron Meshon’s illustrations to life. The animation provides information about this year’s Limeades for Learning program in a friendly and fun way.
