Hi, I am an After Effects teacher here in Mexico, I was asking myself, how do you accomplish in this video that sort of ambient occlusion in your cinematography, I liked a lot, very very nice video.

Thanks Justin! So did you shoot the hand on the ipod? I’ve been trying this and consistently am running up against the problem of screen reflection. How did you accomplish this?

Zach, we received game footage from Creative Asylum and composited as well as motion tracked all of the footage. The hand turning the wheel is green screen footage of just the hand and then composited on top the game. Let me know if you have any other questions! thanks.

How was this shot? Was the ipod given a green shot and they keyed out? How did you do the hand spinning the wheel on the screen?
